One of the most unique tours on Maui, the Maui Island Tour begins with Fleming Beach and its stunning views of Molokai, followed by a breathtakingly scenic journey along the rugged shoreline that stretches around the backside of the West Maui Mountains. Then it’s a jaunt into the heart of the West Maui’s, you will get to see one of Maui’s most iconic natural wonders: the majestic Iao Needle. After enjoying a picnic-style lunch at Ho’okipa Beach Park, where local surfers and windsurfers brave the giant waves and giant sea turtles nap on the beach in numbers, then it’s on to the scenic vistas of Upcountry Maui. Here, you will take in magnificent bi-coastal views from the slopes of Haleakala Volcano.

APPROXIMATE PICK-UP:

South Side –

  Wailea/South Kihei:  6:15AM

North Kihei:  6:30AM

West Side –

Lahaina:  7:00AM 

Ka’anapali/Napili/Kahana/Kapalua:  7:10AM – 7:30AM

                                                                                      

PLANNED STOPS:

7:35AM –  Fleming Beach for Continental Breakfast (Duration: 20 mins)

9:30AM –  Kahakuloa (Duration: 15 mins) 

10:45AM – Iao Valley State Park (Duration 30 mins)

11:15AM – Lunch at Heritage Gardens Kepaniwai (Duration 30 – 45 mins)

12:30PM – Ho’okipa Beach Park (Duration: 20 mins)

1:15PM –   Upper Kula – 4500 ft. elevation – weather permitting (Duration: 15 mins)

1:45PM –   Kea Kea/Ulupalakua and surrounding area

 

TOUR DURATION:  8 – 9 hours

Between planned stops, there will also be many brief, scenic “photo-op stops”. Tour route includes Lahaina, Wailuku, Paia, Haiku, Makawao, Olinda, Kula, Kea Kea and Ulupalakua.

It is recommended that passengers bring or wear the following:

Sunscreen, bathing suit, towel, flip-flops or comfortable walking shoes

Cell phone and/or camera

 

Physical requirements: 

Guests must be physically capable of boarding and exiting tour vehicle without assistance, and walking short distances on uneven ground. 

 

Cancellations:

Customers who wish to cancel must do so at least 48 hours prior to scheduled tour and will receive a full refund. Customers will receive a full refund in case of operator cancellation due to inclement weather or other unforeseen circumstances. No-shows will be charged the full price.

We offer pick up & drop-off services at all the major hotel resorts and most condos on-island (exception: Travaasa Hana Hotel)
